Land Acknowledgement

I respectfully acknowledge that I live and work in Banff National Park, on the traditional territories of the peoples of Treaty 7. This includes the Îyârhe Nakoda Nations (Bearspaw, Chiniki, and Goodstoney First Nations), the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani First Nations), and the Tsuut’ina First Nation. I also recognize the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3, and honour the enduring connections Indigenous Peoples have to these lands, waters, and communities.
