Recently, I was out of service camping and, when I finally had service again, I had a message waiting from my boss with some incredible news…

A bride’s hair that I created back in March 2025 had been featured on the COVER of Rocky Mountain Bride Canada. 💚🤗

I was so excited to see that the incredibly talented Andrew & Hayley from @filmandforest took home the cover contest with this stunning image, from an incredible array of shots taken this day! 🎉

Although I rarely get to see them in person, I've had the pleasure of sharing many wonderful brides with them over the years, so I absolutely love following their work.

A backwards ski to capture the bride doing her thing in her wedding dress... how cool is that?! ⛷️

Like so many hairstylists and makeup artists, imposter syndrome has crept in from time to time, and it's something I've definitely had to work through over the years.

Seeing my work featured alongside so many incredibly talented creatives makes me feel so proud of the time, passion, and dedication I've put into continually honing my craft. Moments like this are a lovely reminder to celebrate how far we've come.

Guest Services at Sunshine Village was my very first job when I moved to Canada. To now have my work featured on a magazine cover, photographed at the very place where I first started building my life here, feels incredibly full circle.

It's funny how life has a way of bringing you back to where it all began—just in ways you never imagined. 💚
